The Great Chicken Wing Debate!

So the other day I and the huge grizzly bear were enjoying our favorite Chinese take outs. Our usual order consists of lobster sauce, fried rice, egg rolls and fried chicken wings. This particular take out place has the best fried chicken wings in our humble opinion. It’s just so delicious with just right amount of crispiness and seasoning. We suspect the seasoning may have minute amount of curry powder for that mysterious yummy flavor, but we cannot be sure!!

Anyway, we were eating food and chicken wings, and we had a rather sudden curiosity:

Is the chicken wing White Meat or Dark Meat?

My opinion was that it is dark meat while the huge grizzly bear thought otherwise. Of course, we found the answer with a quick web search. We were both right!!

While technically wings are dark meat, modern breed to feed chickens do not use their wings much, they are now considered White Meat. Crazy, right?
